His favourite scheme is creating a betting company on behalf of his clients. He was also involved in slimming product scams. However, the culmination of his fame was a loud scandal in the early 2000s, when it turned out that he was helping former Prime Minister Tony Blair’s wife to buy the property at a lower price.

Despite his “celebrity”, Foster managed to conduct a major scam once again. He set up Sports Predictions, a company that would hire experts to place bets on behalf of investors. In fact, no bets were placed, and the funds came to Peter Foster, who then laundered and used them. On August 20, he was arrested in Port Douglas, Australia, on the beach while dogs were walking.

Private investigator

The arrest was made thanks to the work of a private investigator. One of Sports Predictions clients, who allegedly lost nearly $1.5 million, hired private investigator Ken Gamble from IFW Global. He suspected that the company was engaged in deception.

The investigator had been collecting data from Sports Predictions for weeks and fears that the fraudsters were behind the company were confirmed. Despite the fact that the information about the owners was carefully hidden, Ken Gamble was able to determine who was actually behind the scheme. He then tracked down the scammer, passed the information on to the police and monitored until the police finally arrested Peter.
